A Bloggers Introduction

My desire with this blog is to inspire thought and dialogue.  An assortment of books and articles will be reviewed and various points of view examined during our literary journey. Positions may be well taken or contested – that is how we learn and grow. I hope no one will be offended and that each will approach the literature as I did: not as a skeptic, tripping over non-essentials, but as a prospector, seeking the golden veins of truth and edification. 

One thing I will say in preface of the books we will peruse, is that you, the authors and I may not agree on all points theologically, but that should not impair ones ability to appreciate the earnest displayed in the writings or prevent us from pursuing edifying dialogue. I encourage all who participate in responses to not only bring the content of Christ to our dialogue but the character of Christ as well. One’s convictions may be passionate and still remain courteous and deferential. With this said, all responses will be given this consideration and screened before they are posted.
